We are proud to be part of the Round Table Organization worldwide.
Like all Tables we are essentially a social club of young men aged between 18 – 40.
Each table is constantly looking for new members, for potential Tablers fitting best in the present community. Thus we shall see an influx of new ideas, thoughts and opinions to our group.
For those members who have reached the age of 40 it is customary to turn to RT 41 Old Tablers, although the upper age limit was extended to 45 in 1998. This 41 club started life just in 2007, inaugurated by the Tablers of RT1.

Round Table is deeply connected to Louis Marchesi, who, according to 5 basic principles, has created a special forum for this age group of businessmen for mutual exchange of ideas on the private and professional plane.
Our group has picked up these principles.
Meetings are held twice a month (excluding July) at Clube Transatlântico, São Paulo anda varied programme of activities is undertaken throughout the (Tabler) year.

Round Table is an organization open to people of all walks of life, open to traditional values and virtues as well as new developments and ideas true to its motto: Adopt, Adapt, Improve

Looking back on more than 30 years of Tabling history here, thanks to our founder father Günter Klaus, who established RT2 São Paulo in 1971 together with Bernd Lorenz, we witness a renaissance in 2001 after overcoming moments of trouble.
We are glad to say that currently we are a very active Table with 15 members, three of whom joined in June 2007.

RT2 was chartered only in 1974 in the presence of Tablers from Austria, Germany (RT55 Kassel), Luxemburg and Switzerland.

In 1977 RT3 was created in Tremembé in the northern part of the city of São Paulo.RT2 wished to extend to Rio de Janeiro creating a Brazilian-speaking Table as well as one more in São Paulo in the course of the same year (1977 and 1979).

In the 1980s RT2 made big steps forward to establish itself in the São Paulo German-speaking community. The Table has been recognized widely for the great work it has been doing so far, emerging popularity has been gained (Brooklin Feast e.g.). The benefits go to a group of children and adolescents in a suburb of São Paulo.
Comments in the local press show how far we have advanced and highlight what we have to offer to social life.

As in the 1950s Tables were founded in Germany and the rest of Europe, so one Table was founded in Brazil, São Paulo, by Danes, English and Germans in 1955.
At the moment there are two active Tables here, the English-speaking RT1 – most of its members are British – and the German-speaking RT2.
Visitors and prospective candidates will be warmly welcome, especially our Brazilian friends.
